Creators:
MacKayla Foutch; Process click here
MacKayla created many different assets used throughout the brand. The subscription box theme, layout, and color scheme were created using these different assets and pulling illustrations from many different banned books. The overall design aesthetic embodies our inspiration from the Dada movement and with a certain sense of rebellion for the audience.

Emma designed the website's aesthetic, content, navigation, web pages, animations, and flow. The design embodies the essence of intellectual freedom, using bold colors, captivating imagery, and intuitive navigation to engage visitors.
Duan Bills; Process click here
Duan designed the Overdue logo, various assets for the website, and the Instagram animation. All of these pieces were made keeping the Dada style from the 20th century in mind (grainy and messy lettering resembling letterpress typography). This was done to further establish the rebellious aesthetic that has been used for the Overdue brand.
Wayne Yang; Process click here
Wanyu designed the bookmarks within the brand, as well as many different assets across the brand. Bookmarks are inspired by library cards. Typography and framing make it clear to viewers how they can support our brand and participate in stopping banned books.
